Worker Dara Phin, 45, Dies at Pacific Veneer Mill in Aberdeen, Washington

Dara Phin, 45, of Aberdeen, Washington died July 30 after being injured while operating machinery at Pacific Veneer, a wood products mill in Aberdeen, local authorities confirmed.

Coworkers performed life-saving measures and Aberdeen fire personnel responded, but Phin was declared deceased at the scene, according to local reports.

The Aberdeen Police Department, Aberdeen Fire Department, and the Grays Harbor County Coroner's Office responded to the incident.

Investigation

The Grays Harbor County Coroner's Office and Aberdeen police are investigating the circumstances of the death.
