CPSC Recalls 47,166 HARPPA Nordi Toddler Tower Stools Over Entrapment and Fall Hazards

The Consumer Product Safety Commission recalled approximately 47,166 HARPPA Nordi Foldable Toddler Tower Stools on August 6 over risks that the product can collapse or tip over and that a child's torso can become entrapped in the openings.

The stools were sold at Harppababy.com and on Amazon from September 2023 through June 2026.

The Hazard

The toddler tower stool is designed to allow young children to stand at counter height during kitchen activities. CPSC found that the product can collapse or tip over during use. The openings at the front and back of the stool are large enough for a child's torso to pass through, creating entrapment and fall risks when the child is elevated.

CPSC received three reports of the product collapsing or tipping. Two children sustained injuries including scrapes, cuts, and bruises. No deaths have been reported in connection with the product.

What Consumers Should Do

Consumers should stop using the HARPPA Nordi Foldable Toddler Tower Stool immediately.

HARPPA is offering a free repair kit that includes protective nets, stabilizing feet, and installation instructions. Consumers should contact HARPPA directly for the repair kit; full details on how to request one are available through the CPSC recall notice.
