Recall Database
Fire & Burn Hazards Recalls
Fire and burn is the largest CPSC-driven hazard on the site: 401 of its 434 records are consumer-product recalls, with 28 from NHTSA and 5 from the FDA. These are products that ignite, overheat, melt, scald, or otherwise put out enough heat to hurt someone — space heaters, chargers, appliances, power banks, and the like.
One pattern is worth calling out because the data supports it: 97 of the 434 records — a little over a fifth — involve a lithium battery, power bank, or charger. Rechargeable-battery fires are a recurring thread in this hub, not a one-off. If you own a recalled power bank or a battery-powered device, this is the grouping to search.
The notices span 2023 through 2026 and have grown each year, from 66 in 2023 to 152 in 2025. Every row links to the original CPSC, NHTSA, or FDA notice with the manufacturer's repair, replace, or refund instructions.
How this hub is built. This page groups the 434 recall records that 411 Press classifies as Fire & Burn Hazards. Each record gets one primary hazard from a fixed, published rule set (taxonomy version 2026-07-28.C2.2); a record can carry secondary hazard tags but appears on only one hub. Regulators in this hub: CPSC (401), NHTSA (28), FDA (5). These notices were published 2023–2026. This is not an all-time archive — it is the current dataset, drawn from CPSC, FDA, and NHTSA notices captured through late May 2026 (CPSC and NHTSA refreshed May 27, FDA May 28, 2026), and it grows as new notices are ingested. Every row links to the original agency notice. The agency's record is the authority; the hazard grouping is ours.
